Job summary

Körber in Malaysia seeks a Software Architect to design scalable logistics software architectures and guide development teams.

You will analyze existing systems, promote standards, mentor engineers, and collaborate with product managers and stakeholders to modernize our software portfolio. Experience with Docker/Kubernetes and cloud platforms is highly valued; English communication is essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field.
• Several years of experience as Software Architect or Lead Developer in logistics or industrial software.
• Proficient in C#, REST APIs, and microservices; cloud and containerization experience preferred.

• Design and implement robust, scalable software architectures for logistics applications.
• Analyze existing systems and identify opportunities for optimization and modernization.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including developers, product managers, and business stakeholders.
• Define and promote architectural standards and best practices across development teams.
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to software engineers.
• Evaluate and integrate new technologies to enhance our logistics software portfolio.

Your Profile

• Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• Several years of experience in Software Architect or Lead Developer in logistics, supply chain, or industrial software.
• Good Proficient in C#; experience with other modern programming languages and web technologies (e.g., REST APIs, microservices) is a plus.
• Solid experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure) and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication skills in English; German is a plus but not required.
• Experience working in international and multicultural teams is an advantage.
