Job summary

Visual Solutions (M) Sdn Bhd is hiring a Quality Control Engineer to review requirements and collaborate with developers and product managers to ensure high-quality software releases. The role involves both manual and automation testing, plus planning, execution of tests, and reporting of results.

You will work in a hybrid setup across Malaysia with opportunities to gain exposure to performance testing, security assessments, and QA process improvements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering or related field; 1–2 years in software QA/QC.
• Familiarity with Agile/Scrum frameworks and regression testing is a plus.
• Strong knowledge of QA methodologies, tools, processes.
• Experience in both manual and automation testing.

Responsibilities

• Review requirements, specifications, and design documents to ensure quality.
• Liaise with developers and product managers to identify system requirements.
• Plan and prepare product releases with software developers and customer service teams.
• Conduct manual, compatibility, regression, and load testing.
• Estimate, prioritize, plan, and coordinate testing activities.
• Develop and execute automation scripts to improve test accuracy and duration.
• Create test reports describing evaluation results and corrections.
• Collect quality data and metrics to identify, document, and track bugs.
• Document and report quality findings and corrective actions for traceability.
• Ensure software performs accurately under normal and abnormal conditions.
