Job summary

Data Flows Sdn Bhd is seeking a Software Quality Assurance Engineer to design, implement, and maintain comprehensive testing processes ensuring reliable, secure, and high-quality software. You will collaborate with software development, project management, DevOps, and mobile teams to develop test plans, automate testing, and track defects.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• Familiarity with Agile development methodologies.
• 1+ years of experience as a Software QA Engineer, or similar role, in an agile environment.
• Strong understanding of QA methodologies, tools, and processes.
• Experience with manual and automated testing.

Responsibilities

• Define and implement QA automation strategy and roadmap.
• Lead end-to-end testing across multiple projects.
• Mentor and guide junior QA engineers.
• Participate in requirement reviews to ensure testability.
• Establish QA best practices and quality standards.
• Design, develop, and maintain scalable automation frameworks with Selenium/Cypress.
• Implement API automation using Postman.
• Develop reusable test libraries and utilities.
• Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins/Azure DevOps).
• Ensure high test coverage and reduce regression risks.
• Oversee functional, regression, integration, and system testing.
• Review test cases and ensure proper documentation.
• Validate database integrity using SQL.
• Track and manage defects using Jira.
• Provide regular quality reports and metrics.
