Job summary

Client in Malaysia seeks a skilled Software Tester / QA Engineer to ensure quality, reliability, functionality and performance of software through thorough manual and automated testing. The role collaborates with developers, business analysts, product owners and other stakeholders across the SDLC to deliver quality releases.

The candidate will perform functional, integration, system, regression, smoke, and UAT testing across web and mobile apps, with API testing experience.

Qualifications

• Analyze requirements and identify testing needs.
• Prepare detailed test plans, test scenarios, test cases, and test scripts.
• Perform functional, integration, system, regression, and UAT testing.
• Collaborate with developers and business teams through SDLC.

Responsibilities

• Execute manual and automated test cases across web and mobile apps.
• Identify, document, prioritize, and track defects.
• Re-test defects after fixes and perform regression testing.
• Perform API testing using Postman or similar tools.
• Maintain QA reports and testing documentation.
• Support CI/CD testing activities and process improvements.
