Job summary

Exact Asia Development Centre Sdn Bhd in Ipoh is seeking a Software Quality Engineer (Automation & Manual Testing) to own the quality and reliability of cloud-based applications. You will design, develop, and execute test plans from user stories and product requirements, perform functional, regression, and load testing, and build automation frameworks within a SCRUM environment.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree in computer science/IT, at least 3 years in software testing, strong

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in computer science, IT, or a related field.
Minimum 3 years in software testing and quality engineering.
Strong knowledge of test design techniques and testing methodologies.
Experience with test automation tools such as Selenium, MSTest, SpecFlow, and Gherkin.
Familiarity with Agile/SCRUM environments and CI/CD practices.
Good English communication skills.

Responsibilities

Own the design, development, and execution of test plans from user stories.
Perform functional, regression, and load testing to ensure high-quality releases.
Build and maintain automation frameworks and test scripts.
Collaborate with developers and cross-functional teams in SCRUM.
Continuously improve testing approaches and engineering practices.
