Objectives

Software Project Lead is responsible for leading the successful delivery of software projects from requirement analysis through design, development, testing, commissioning, and post-implementation support. The role provides technical leadership, drives solution architecture, coordinates cross-functional teams, and ensures project objectives are achieved within agreed timelines, quality standards, and customer expectations. In addition to hands‑on technical contributions, Software Project Leader mentors team members, supports resource planning, identifies project risks, and promotes engineering best practices and continuous improvement initiatives.

Technical/Commercial

• Lead software project delivery activities from requirements gathering through deployment and post-go-live support.
• Analyze customer requirements and translate business needs into technical solutions.
• Define project scope, technical approach, effort estimation, and implementation plans.
• Ensure project deliverables meet agreed quality, schedule, and performance objectives.
• Monitor project progress and proactively address technical challenges, risks, and blockers.
• Coordinate project activities across Software, Testing, Product, Solution Design, and other relevant teams.
• Lead software integration, commissioning, customer acceptance testing, and stabilization activities.
• Support issue resolution during project implementation and operational support phases.
• Collaborate closely with Solution Architects to ensure product features align with customer requirements and deliver optimal user value.
• Provide L3 technical support and guidance.
• Lead project integration, commissioning and post-go-live activities.

Bring to the team

• Bachelor's degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, or equivalent qualification.
• Minimum 7 years software development experience with at least 2-3 years leading technical teams or project delivery activities.
• Ability to communicate technical concepts effectively to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Proven ability to lead technical discussions, coordinate cross-functional teams, and drive project delivery.
• Strong knowledge of SQL, Object-Oriented Design (OOD), Java, and Java EE technologies.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
• Hands-on experience developing enterprise applications using Java EE, Spring Framework, and Spring Boot.
• Experience leading technical solution delivery, effort estimation, and technical risk management.
• Experience defining software architecture and reviewing technical designs for enterprise solutions.
• Experience working directly with customers and cross-functional project teams.
• Ability to manage changing priorities and meet challenging project deadlines.
• Good written and verbal communication skills in English.
• Willingness to travel and work on site when required.
