Job summary

KUKA Aktiengesellschaft in Malaysia invites engineering students to join as Solution Engineering Intern, offering hands-on experience across robotics, automation and software tools. You will work with our project teams, gain exposure to design, simulation and FAT activities, and contribute to real-world deployments.

Ideal candidates are pursuing relevant engineering degrees, with knowledge of 3D CAD, simulation, Java/Python/C++, and a strong customer-focused mindset.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a Diploma/Degree in Mechatronic, Electrical/Electronic, Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• Knowledge of engineering simulation and 3D CAD software preferred.
• Knowledge of Java, Python or C++ is an added advantage.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving and communication skills.
• Willing to learn and participate in hands-on on-site activities.

Responsibilities

• Assist in preparing and maintaining project documentation, PRs, SOPs and technical records.
• Support project planning, scheduling, progress tracking and coordination of project activities.
• Assist engineers in overall system design, system layouts and project/process flow development.
• Support engineering design activities using simulation and 3D CAD software.
• Assist in reviewing and updating technical drawings, specifications and other engineering documents.
• Provide day-to-day support to the Solution/Project team on ongoing projects and engineering activities.
• Support on-site activities, including installation, testing, troubleshooting and commissioning when required.
• Assist in FAT and in-house testing, including monitoring progress and documenting results.
• Coordinate and follow up with internal teams to ensure project tasks are completed according to schedule.
