Job summary

Tentacle Technologies in Malaysia is seeking an experienced Software Developer to join a strong development team responsible for critical services in the digital banking space.

You will provide technical leadership, mentor junior developers and shape reliable, scalable services from UI to the database backend in a fast-paced RAD environment.

The role requires 10–12 years in enterprise software, full stack expertise, and a proven track record with CI/CD, DevOps tools and Kubernetes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering or equivalent.
• 10–12 years of enterprise software development experience with OOD/MVC design experience.
• Strong understanding of RDBMS data models and experience with multiple databases.
• Experience with CI/CD tool chain and DevOps practices; Agile project experience.
• Full stack experience with web and mobile front-end technologies; Angular 2+, TypeScript, iOS/Android SDK, HTML5, CSS; Microservices and Kubernetes advantageous.
• Self-starter with strong communication and teamwork skills, able to juggle multiple tasks with a results-focused mindset.

We are looking for an experienced Software Developer/Software Programmer to join a strong development team working on critical services in the digital banking space. You will bring technical leadership, mentor junior developers and help shape reliable, scalable services from the user interface through to the database backend, all within a fast-paced Rapid Application Development environment.

About you

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering or equivalent

10 to 12 years of experience in enterprise software development, with OOD/MVC design experience

Solid understanding of RDBMS data models, with knowledge of more than one database

Working experience with CI/CD tool chain and strong experience in DevOps tools; Agile project experience

Full stack experience is highly regarded, along with a good understanding of web and mobile front-end technologies and digital banking UX; Angular 2+, TypeScript, iOS/Android SDK, HTML5, CSS, Microservices and Kubernetes are an advantage

Self-starter with strong communication, collaboration and teamwork skills, able to juggle multiple tasks with a result-focused mindset
