Job summary

Tentacle Technologies in Malaysia is seeking an experienced Software Developer to join a strong development team responsible for critical services in the digital banking space.

You will provide technical leadership, mentor junior developers and shape reliable, scalable services from UI to the database backend in a fast-paced RAD environment.

The role requires 10–12 years in enterprise software, full stack expertise, and a proven track record with CI/CD, DevOps tools and Kubernetes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering or equivalent.
• 10–12 years of enterprise software development experience with OOD/MVC design experience.
• Strong understanding of RDBMS data models and experience with multiple databases.
• Experience with CI/CD tool chain and DevOps practices; Agile project experience.
• Full stack experience with web and mobile front-end technologies; Angular 2+, TypeScript, iOS/Android SDK, HTML5, CSS; Microservices and Kubernetes advantageous.
• Self-starter with strong communication and teamwork skills, able to juggle multiple tasks with a results-focused mindset.

Responsibilities

• Be part of a strong development team focusing on the development of critical services.
• Mentor and provide guidance to junior developers.
• Embrace DevOps culture and implement automation for applications.
• Provide technical leadership and expertise for design, implementation and quality release.
• Develop reliable services from user interface to database backend.
• Propose changes to deployment architecture to improve performance, scalability and manageability.
• Ensure quality decisions in the review and analysis of tools from third-party vendors.
