Job summary

Huawei Technologies (Malaysia) Sdn. Bhd is seeking an experienced QA/Test professional to design, implement, and drive end-to-end testing for our BSS components in a telecom environment.

You will analyze requirements, build test plans, and maintain test environments for rigorous functional, integration, and performance testing. Exceptional communication and collaboration skills are required to coordinate with multiple departments and deliver reliable software on schedule.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree or above in Engineering (Computer/Telecommunication/Software), Computer Science/Information Technology or equivalent.
• Familiar with Telecommunication BSS E2E Architecture & Business Processes including knowledge of Digital Economy.
• Minimum 7 years working experience in consulting role in CRM/OCS/Billing/IN/Call Center/BI/SAP; telecom experience preferred.
• Must have very good knowledge of Telco CRM or Billing products and understanding of the BSS in telecom.
• Experience in at least 1 Telco CRM or OCS/Billing project lifecycle; requirements gathering and CRM/OCS features knowledge.
• Excellent interpersonal written and verbal communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.

• Manage and maintain test environments, including setting up test data, test scenarios, and test scripts.
• Execute manual and automated testing, including functional, integration, and performance testing.
• Analyse test results, identify issues, and assist the development team in resolving them.
• Work with development to track and fix defects to ensure timely resolution.
• Manage and optimize the testing process to improve testing efficiency and quality.
• Collaborate with development, product management, operations, and QA to deliver high-quality products on time.
• Regularly report testing progress and results to management with suggestions for improvement.

Job Requirement:

• Bachelor’s Degree or above in Engineering (Computer/Telecommunication/Software), Computer Science/Information Technology or equivalent.
• Familiar with Telecommunication BSS E2E Architecture & Business Processes including knowledge of Digital Economy.
• Minimum 7 years working experience in consulting role in CRM/OCS/Billing/IN/Call Center/BI/SAP. Candidate with telecom experience is preferred.
• Must have a very good knowledge of Telco CRM or Billing products as well as clear understanding of the Business Support System of the telecommunication industry.
• Experience in at least 1 Telco CRM or OCS/Billing Project life cycles. Skills needed include business requirements gathering and analysis and good understand of CRM or OCS/Billing features.
• Excellent interpersonal written and verbal communication skills, presentation skills, negotiation skills and interact internally/externally involving people with diversified cultural backgrounds.
