Job summary

Huawei Technologies (Malaysia) Sdn. Bhd is seeking an IP/Datacom Maintenance Engineer - MRO (AMS) to manage maintenance operations on IP/Datacom network products and ensure service reliability.

The role requires a Bachelor's degree or above in telecom/electronics, at least two years of telecom maintenance experience, and knowledge of OSPF, BGP, and MPLS-VPN. You will troubleshoot to meet SLA and support maintenance contracts.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree or above in Telecommunications, Electronics, Electrical, or related area.
• 2+ years of experience in telecom maintenance, with OSPF/BGP/MPLS-VPN knowledge.
• Strong knowledge of IP core / IP backhaul / campus / DCN deployment or maintenance.
• Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Outstanding communication and ability to liaise with customers and personnel.
• Huawei or other vendor certification is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Manage IP/Datacom maintenance operations.
• Maintain live network and troubleshoot to restore services within SLA.
• Provide technical support for datacom networks per maintenance contract.
• Monitor and audit implementation activity; rectify live network work.
• Analyze performance, resolve complex issues, optimize architecture.

• To manage and handling the Maintenance operation on the IP/Datacom network products.
• Maintain the live network and troubleshooting the network problem to restore the services within the SLA.
• Provide technical support for datacom network based on maintenance contract.
• To monitor and audit on implementation activity and perform rectification for live network work.
• To analyze network performance, resolve complex network problem, and optimize network architecture.
• Have a strong communication skill and inter-personal skill.

Job Requirement :

• Bachelor degree or above majoring in Telecommunications, Electronics, Electrical, or related area.
• Have strong knowledge about telecom communication and with 2 years and above experienced in the industry, understand OSPF/BGP/MPLS-VPN.
• Good technical knowledge of IP core / IP backhaul / campus / DCN network deployment or maintenance will be added in advantage.
• Excellent troubleshooting and problem solving skills.
• Outstanding communication skills and able to liaise with all levels of internal and external customers and personnel.
• Candidate with Huawei or other Vendor's certificate will be added advantage.
