Job summary

ISI in Kuala Lumpur is seeking an experienced software engineer to design, develop, test, and deliver high-quality .NET/C# applications. You will work closely with Business Analysts and engineers across regions to translate requirements into robust software, write technical docs, and contribute to testing strategies.

The role requires strong C#, JavaScript, React, and SQL skills, plus experience with AWS and microservices.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science/IT/Software Engineering.
• 3+ years object oriented programming with at least 2+ years in C#.
• Strong experience in C#, Javascript, React, CSS and HTML5.
• Experience in databases such as MySQL, AWS Aurora and MongoDB.
• Experience in WiX Toolset, DotNetInstaller, NetOffice, VSTO.
• Experience in Data Engineering / Data Pipelines / Data processing streaming technologies
• Experience in WPF + MVVM development.
• Experience in ASP.NET MVC4 or above, Web and RESTful API.
• Experience in .NET 8/10, cross platform projects. .NET Framework 4.8 is a plus.
• Experience in WCF, OData, gRPC development.
• NET asynchronous programming.
• VSTO Excel add-in development.
• Experience with Visual Studio 2022.
• Windows 10/11 and Office.
• Familiar with Source Control tool GIT.
• Familiarity with AWS: Lambda, SQS, S3.
• Experience with Micro Services architecture and development.
• Continuous Integration software: Jenkins.
• Excellent communicator and ability to work with teams across regions/time zones.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English; Cantonese helpful.
• 3-5 years of experience in a similar or closely related role is expected.

Job description

• Object Oriented programming experience: 3+ years with at least 2+ years in C#


• Solid experience in C#, Javascript, React, CSS and HTML5


• Solid experience in databases such as MySQL, AWS Aurora and MongoDB


• Experience in WiX Toolset, DotNetInstaller, NetOffice, VSTO


• Experience in Data Engineering / Data Pipelines / Data processing streaming technologies


• Experience in WPF + MVVM development


• Experience in ASP.NET MVC4 or above, both Web and RESTful API


• Experience in .NET 8/10, cross platform projects. Experience in dotnet framework 4.8 would be an added advantage.
