Job summary

YDT Automation Sdn Bhd is seeking a Software Engineer to join our RoboSync team in Shah Alam. You will develop and enhance the RoboSync robotics and warehouse automation platform, connecting robots, automation equipment and warehouse operations.

You will work on front-end and back-end components using Angular, TypeScript, HTML, CSS and C#/.NET, collaborate across robotics, electrical and applications engineering, and contribute to system integrations, dashboards and diagnostics.

Qualifications

• Diploma or degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology or related field.
• Experience with C# / .NET.
• Experience with Angular, TypeScript, HTML and CSS.
• Familiar with relational databases and SQL.
• Familiar with REST API, WebSocket and system integration.
• Experience with Git / version control.
• Good problem-solving and debugging skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain and improve the RoboSync web-based platform.
• Develop front-end applications using Angular.
• Develop back-end services and APIs using .NET / C#.
• Design and maintain databases for robot missions, warehouse operations, system logs and configuration data.
• Develop and maintain REST APIs / WebSocket communication between RoboSync, robots and external systems.
• Integrate RoboSync with AGV/AMR, PLC, conveyors, sensors, Remote I/O and other automation equipment.
• Develop integrations with customer systems such as WMS, ERP, MES and third-party software.
• Develop modules for robot fleet management, mission management, traffic management, warehouse workflows and system monitoring.
• Develop dashboards, analytics, reports and system diagnostic tools.
• Troubleshoot and resolve software issues during development, testing, commissioning and customer deployment.

Software Engineer – Full Stack & Robotics Platform

We are looking for a Software Engineer to join our software development team and work on RoboSync, YDT Automation's robotics and warehouse automation software platform. RoboSync is used to manage and control warehouse automation systems including AGV/AMR fleet management, robot missions, traffic control, warehouse workflows, equipment integration, system monitoring and analytics. You will be involved in both front-end and back-end development, working closely with our robotics, electrical and applications engineering teams to develop software that connects robots, automation equipment and warehouse operations into one integrated system.

Key responsibilities

About you
