Private Advertiser in Malaysia is seeking a Senior / Staff Engineer to build automation software and intelligent machine control systems, integrating PLC, robotics, motion control, HMI/SCADA and machine vision.

The role requires a degree or diploma in CS, mechatronics or electronics, at least 6 years in industrial automation software, and hands-on PLC/HMI/SCADA experience with cross‑functional teams on local and overseas projects.

Qualifications

Degree/Diploma in Computer Science, Mechatronics, Electronics Engineering
At least 6 years experience in industrial automation software development
Hands-on experience with PLC programming, HMI/SCADA, motion control and machine integration
Knowledge of servo motors, sensors, industrial communication protocols and troubleshooting
Experience with C#/C++/Java, robotics or machine vision is an added advantage

Responsibilities

Design & develop automation software and control systems
Tune motion control and commission advanced machines
Troubleshoot, optimise and enhance machine performance
Work directly with customers and multidisciplinary engineering teams
Participate in local & overseas project commissioning
