Job summary

Gloo is seeking a PHP developer in Ipoh to join a collaborative team. You will contribute to developing web applications with PHP and MySQL, maintain existing code, and work with designers and seniors to deliver quality software.

Ideal candidates have PHP expertise, MySQL knowledge, and experience with frameworks like Laravel or CodeIgniter. Familiarity with Git, Linux basics, and CMS platforms is a plus. Remote work is not indicated; on-site at Ipoh, Perak.

Qualifications

• Solid understanding of PHP (OOP preferred).
• Basic knowledge of MySQL / MariaDB.
• Experience with PHP frameworks (Laravel, CodeIgniter).
• Familiar with version control systems like Git.
• Knowledge of Linux / server-side scripting.
• Exposure to CMS platforms (WordPress, OpenCart).
• Familiarity with debugging tools (Xdebug).
• Familiarity with REST API integration and npm tooling.
• Cloud platforms such as AWS or Microsoft Azure preferred.
• Docker and Kubernetes familiarity is an advantage.
