Job summary

Jora Malaysia is seeking a capable software developer to join our team in Malaysia. The role covers both frontend and backend development, building features and APIs, and ensuring robust data management.

You will work with APIs and relational databases, use Git for version control, and write clean, maintainable code. Strong problem-solving skills and clear communication in Chinese, English, and Bahasa Malaysia are essential.

Qualifications

• 1-2 years of experience in stack web application development (frontend and backend).
• Experience working with APIs and relational databases.
• Familiar with version control systems (e.g., Git).
• Ability to write clean, maintainable, and well-structured code.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot technical issues.
• Able to communicate in Chinese, English, and Bahasa Malaysia.
• Experience in mobile application development will be an added advantage.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain web applications across both frontend and backend components.
• Design, build, and maintain application services and APIs.
• Develop and manage database structures, ensuring performance and data integrity.
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues, bugs, and system performance problems.
• Collaborate with team members to implement new features and system improvements.
• Participate in the software development lifecycle, including development, testing, and deployment.
• Perform any other duties and responsibilities as assigned by the Superior/Management from time to time.
