Altera in Penang seeks an FPGA design applications engineer specializing in high-speed video interfaces to join the Factory Applications Team. You will help customers adopt Altera video solutions and showcase new offerings, focusing on DisplayPort, MIPI and HDMI.
You will collaborate with engineering and marketing, produce example designs and documentation, and ensure a smooth out-of-box experience for customers evaluating our video IPs and boards.

In this position, you will be joining the Penang Factory Applications Team as an FPGA design applications engineer specializing in high-speed serial interface solutions focusing on Video IPs. You will help revolutionize our customer experience by showcasing our new offerings and supporting our customers in their design success. Qualifications
BSEE/MSEE or equivalent with a minimum of 5 years of experience in digital design and FPGA development.
Experience with high-speed serial interface technologies, particularly video protocols and applications such as DisplayPort, MIPI, HDMI, or related video systems.
Experience in VHDL/Verilog, design verification, timing closure, simulation, software applications (Yocto, ROS), system design and board/hardware debugging is an added advantage.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a demonstrated ability to drive complex technical issues to resolution.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
