Job summary

Infomindz R&D Sdn Bhd in Cyberjaya is seeking a Software Application Technical Support specialist to assist clients with Java Web Applications, troubleshoot issues, and support deployment, migration, installation, and configuration.

You will create technical documentation, deliver client training, and collaborate with developers to implement solutions, conduct testing, and ensure smooth operation across multiple projects.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science or a related field; diploma acceptable with strong technical skills.

Software Application Technical Support role involving customer support, technical troubleshooting, and assistance with software deployment, migration, installation, and configuration, particularly for Java Web Applications. The role includes creating technical documentation, conducting training sessions, and supporting the implementation of new solutions.

Key responsibilities

Address customer concerns, inquiries, or issues related to software features and usage, including troubleshooting

Assist software developers in resolving technical issues during the software development process

Provide support for the deployment, migration, installation, and configuration of software, particularly Java Web Applications

Create technical documents and manuals for reference by clients and internal teams

Conduct training sessions for new clients on how to use software products effectively

Guide colleagues and clients in resolving technical problems and implementing solutions

Support the implementation of new solutions or applications, including VA findings and manual testing

About you

Bachelor's degree in computer science or a related field, or diploma with good technical knowledge/skills

2 to 5 years of experience

Strong knowledge of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and Software Testing Life Cycle (STLC)

Familiarity with RDBMS, Java Web Applications, and IT infrastructure, such as servers and IT networks

Proficiency with various software/tools like Tomcat and ActiveMQ

Experience in preparing Test Specifications Documents, including Test Scenarios, Test Cases, Test Data, Defect Reports, Requirement Traceability Matrix, and Test Closure Reports

Skilled in executing test cases and logging defects

In-depth understanding of testing methodologies, technical product knowledge, and adherence to industry standards and best practices

Troubleshoot and escalated defects to the appropriate Point of Contact (POC).

Proficiency in Bug Life Cycle.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Strong interpersonal skills for effective collaboration within diverse, global teams.

Willingness to travel to customer sites as needed.

Customer-focused with the ability to establish positive working relationships with clients.

Effective project management skills, capable of handling multiple projects simultaneously and meeting deadlines.
