Job summary

QI Group is seeking an experienced Social Media Lead to drive integrated strategies across LinkedIn, Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, YouTube and more. You will craft compelling storytelling, manage content calendars, and optimise campaigns with data-driven insights.

You will mentor a social media team, collaborate with internal partners and external creators, and shape the organisation's digital reputation while balancing creativity and measurable performance.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Marketing, PR, Digital Media, Journalism, or related field.
  • 5–7 years in social media, digital comms, or content strategy, in corporate/multinational settings.
  • Strong knowledge of LinkedIn, Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, YouTube and related formats.
  • Excellent writing and digital storytelling, adapt content to audiences and brands.
  • Experience creating short-form video for TikTok, Reels, and Shorts.
  • Proficiency in social media management, scheduling, analytics, and social listening.
  • Experience with external agencies, influencers, or content creators a plus.
  • Familiarity with AI-powered tools for ideation and creation.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute integrated social media strategies across LinkedIn, Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, YouTube, and emerging digital platforms.
  • Manage day-to-day social media operations, including content calendars, publishing schedules, campaign timelines, and production workflows.
  • Lead the planning and development of platform-optimised content, including short-form videos, reels, carousels, graphics, podcasts, and interactive formats.
  • Identify and leverage trends, platform features, creators, and audience insights to improve engagement and content performance while maintaining brand consistency.
  • Monitor and analyse social media performance, including reach, engagement, audience growth, watch time, and campaign effectiveness.
  • Use analytics, reporting tools, and AI-powered insights to optimise content strategies across platforms.
  • Collaborate with internal teams, creative partners, agencies, photographers, videographers, and content creators to deliver high-quality campaigns and content.
  • Mentor and guide social media team members to ensure timely delivery, strong content quality, and alignment with communication objectives.
  • Support online community engagement and help manage the organisation’s digital reputation across social media channels.

Job description

We are looking for an experienced and creative Social Media Lead to lead and execute integrated social media strategies across LinkedIn, Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, YouTube, and other emerging digital platforms.

This role will be responsible for strengthening brand visibility, driving audience engagement, and building a consistent digital presence through compelling storytelling, platform-specific content, and data-led optimisation. The ideal candidate is someone who understands both corporate communications and fast-moving social media trends, with the ability to balance creativity, brand reputation, and measurable performance.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Marketing, Public Relations, Digital Media, Journalism, or a related field.
  • 5 to 7 years of experience in social media, digital communications, content strategy, or a related role, preferably within a corporate, agency, or multinational environment.
  • Strong understanding of LinkedIn, Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, YouTube, and emerging social media platforms, including platform algorithms, content formats, audience behaviour, and best practices.
  • Excellent writing, editing, and digital storytelling skills, with the ability to adapt content for different audiences, platforms, and brand tones.
  • Hands-on experience creating and optimising short-form video content, particularly for TikTok, Instagram Reels, and YouTube Shorts.
  • Proficiency in social media management, scheduling, analytics, reporting, and social listening tools.
  • Ability to translate performance data and audience insights into practical recommendations and content improvements.
  • Experience managing online communities, social media campaigns, and brand or corporate reputation.
  • Strong project management and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities, campaigns, and timelines.
  • Experience working with external agencies, creative partners, influencers, or content creators would be an advantage.
  • Familiarity with AI-powered tools for content ideation, copywriting, image or video creation, and social media optimisation would be beneficial.
  • Experience working in a regional or multinational environment would be an added advantage.
