Job summary

Kaijiu Production (M) SDN BHD seeks a creative content creator to develop engaging short-form videos for Instagram, TikTok, Threads and more. You will film with a smartphone or DJI Osmo, edit with CapCut, and craft behind-the-scenes and branding content in collaboration with the Creative Director.

You’ll write hooks and captions, stay on-trend with formats, and help manage posting schedules in a fast-paced production setting.

This role involves creating engaging short-form content for the company's social media platforms including Instagram, Rednote, TikTok, Threads and other relevant platforms. You will shoot videos using a smartphone, DJI Osmo or other simple filming equipment, edit content using CapCut or similar applications, and develop behind-the-scenes, lifestyle, production-related and company branding content. You will work closely with the Creative Director to develop content ideas and company IP, capture content during productions, events and daily office activities, and explore new content formats while continuously suggesting fresh ideas.

Key responsibilities

• Create short-form content for Instagram, Rednote, TikTok, Threads and other relevant platforms
• Shoot videos using a smartphone, DJI Osmo or other simple filming equipment
• Edit short-form videos using CapCut or similar editing applications
• Create behind-the-scenes, lifestyle, production-related and company branding content
• Write simple captions, hooks, scripts and social media copy
• Keep up with current social media trends, formats, memes and popular content styles
• Work closely with the Creative Director to develop content ideas and company IP
• Capture content during productions, events and daily office activities
• Assist in managing and organising social media content and posting schedules

About you

• Able to speak and understand English and Bahasa Melayu
• Creative, imaginative and able to think outside the box
• Familiar with social media platforms and short-form video content
• Able to shoot videos using a smartphone or DJI Osmo
• Able to edit videos using CapCut
• Basic understanding of framing, composition, lighting and visual storytelling
• Able to work independently and turn ideas into completed content
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced production environment
• Willing to learn, experiment and try new content styles
