Polymorph Recruitment's client is a growing digital content business seeking a Social Media Content Creator who can turn ideas into watchable content across TikTok, Instagram, Facebook, YouTube Shorts and Xiaohongshu (RED). You will drive strategy, research, ideation, scriptwriting, production, posting and performance review, collaborating with clients and talent to shape engaging narratives.

Ideal candidates have experience in content creation, short-form video, and a strong portfolio.

Qualificações

• Experience in content creation, social media, branding or marketing; fresh graduates with a strong portfolio are welcome to apply.
• Strong understanding of TikTok, Instagram Reels and short-form content, and what makes people stop scrolling.
• Able to write engaging scripts and captions with strong storytelling.
• Creative, while understanding business and marketing objectives.
• Good command of English; Mandarin and Bahasa Malaysia are an advantage.

Responsabilidades

• Research social media trends, formats, audience behaviour and competitors’ winning content.
• Understand each client’s business, products, target audience and USP, and develop weekly and monthly content directions.
• Generate fresh content ideas, strong hooks, topics and angles that capture attention.
• Write engaging short-form video scripts with strong hooks and calls to action.
• Take part in content shoots, guiding clients or talent, and assist with scene planning.
• Capture simple smartphone content and coordinate with video editors to deliver the creative direction.
• Prepare captions and posting copy, maintain content calendars, and schedule posts.
• Review content performance and audience data, identify winning content and recommend improvements.
• Use AI tools within the content workflow.

Job Summary

Our client is a growing digital content business helping brands, businesses, founders and personal brands build a stronger presence through content and social media. They are looking for a Social Media Content Creator who can turn ideas, brands, products and business knowledge into content people want to watch. This is not just a posting role: you will be involved across the full content journey, from strategy, research and ideation to scriptwriting, production, publishing and performance review, across TikTok, Instagram, Facebook, YouTube Shorts and Xiaohongshu (RED).

Key Responsibilities

• Research social media trends, formats, audience behaviour and competitors’ winning content.
• Understand each client’s business, products, target audience and USP, and develop weekly and monthly content directions.
• Generate fresh content ideas, strong hooks, topics and angles that capture attention.
• Write engaging short-form video scripts with strong hooks, storytelling and calls to action, adapted to each brand’s personality and audience.
• Take part in content shoots, guiding clients, founders or talent, and assisting with scene and shot planning.
• Capture simple smartphone content and work closely with video editors to deliver the intended creative direction.
• Prepare captions and posting copy, maintain content calendars, and schedule and publish approved content on time.
• Review content performance and audience data, identify winning content and recommend improvements.
• Use AI tools such as ChatGPT, Claude, Canva, CapCut and AI image and video generators within the content workflow.

• Experience in content creation, social media, branding or marketing; fresh graduates with a strong portfolio and good content sense are welcome to apply.
• Strong understanding of TikTok, Instagram Reels and short-form content, and what makes people stop scrolling.
• Able to write engaging scripts and captions with a strong sense of storytelling.
• Creative, while understanding business and marketing objectives.
• Good command of English; Mandarin and Bahasa Malaysia are an advantage.
• Confident communicating with clients and team members.
• Organised, able to manage multiple projects and take ownership of assigned work independently.
• Receptive to feedback and willing to learn and adopt new AI tools and content workflows.

REMUNERATION PACKAGES

• Basic Salary: RM3,500 to RM4,500 (depending on experience, portfolio strength, skill level and ability to work independently)
• KPI performance bonus (based on content output, quality, on-time delivery, engagement, winning content and client satisfaction)
• EPF, SOCSO & EIS
• Primarily on-site at WORQ Bandar Utama; occasional client shoots and external production activities
