Job summary

UpGrowth HR Sdn. Bhd. is seeking a Creative Social Media Content Creator to transform ideas, products, and brands into engaging content for TikTok, Instagram, Facebook, YouTube Shorts and Xiaohongshu. You’ll manage the full content process from research to analysis across multiple platforms.

The role requires strong scripting, storytelling, and trend‑spotting skills, plus the ability to work with clients, talents and editors. Fluency in English, Mandarin and Bahasa Malaysia is preferred.

Qualifications

• Diploma/Degree in Marketing or related field preferred.
• Experience in social media, content creation, digital marketing, branding or related areas.
• Strong understanding of TikTok, Instagram Reels and short‑form video content.
• Good scriptwriting, copywriting and storytelling skills.
• Creative mindset with ability to identify trends and develop relevant ideas independently.
• Able to work independently while meeting deadlines and handling multiple projects.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, especially with clients or talents.
• Able to use AI tools and content creation technologies.

Job Summary

We are looking for a creative and proactive Social Media Content Creator who knows how to turn ideas, products, brands and business stories into engaging social media content.

You will be involved in the full content process, from research and content ideation to scripting, production, publishing and performance analysis across TikTok, Instagram, Facebook, YouTube Shorts and Xiaohongshu (RED).

Job Responsibilities

Content Strategy & Ideas

• Research social media trends and content formats.
• Generate fresh content ideas for different brands.
• Understand the client’s business, products, target audience and USP.
• Develop weekly and monthly content directions.
• Identify strong hooks and content angles.
• Study competitors and winning content.

Scriptwriting

• Write short-form video scripts.
• Create strong hooks, storytelling and CTAs.
• Write educational, entertaining and promotional content.
• Adapt content according to different brand personalities.
• Make content sound natural, simple and human.

Content Production

• Participate in content shoots.
• Guide clients, founders or talents during filming.
• Assist with scene planning and shot direction.
• Capture simple social media content using smartphones when required.
• Work closely with video editors to achieve the intended content direction.

Social Media Management

• Prepare captions and posting copy.
• Organise content calendars.
• Schedule and publish approved content.
• Ensure content is posted consistently.
• Review performance and identify winning content.
• Suggest improvements based on data and audience response.

Job Requirements

• Comfortable participating in content shoots and being hands‑on with content production.
• Willing to learn and use new AI tools and content creation technologies.
• Good command of English, Mandarin and Bahasa Malaysia.
