Job summary

TIME dotCom Berhad is seeking a SOC Engineer to operate as the central hub of the Network Division, ensuring our network platform runs optimally while providing expert technical support to customers.

You will monitor network and service performance 24x7, perform Level 2 troubleshooting, and manage high-priority incidents affecting managed services. Collaboration across teams and strong communication are essential for success.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field.
• 1–2 years' telecom experience preferred.
• Solid understanding of telecommunication systems and infrastructure.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot independently.
• Excellent interpersonal and written communication skills.
• Able to work well in a team and collaborate across functions.

Responsibilities

• Monitor network and service performance to ensure uptime and reliability.
• Perform Level 2 troubleshooting for network-related incidents.
• Manage and respond to high-priority incidents, especially for MS customers.
• Escalate issues promptly and coordinate with relevant teams.
• Support other departments and regional offices with network inquiries.
• Collaborate to improve monitoring tools and incident response processes.
• Maintain clear communication across technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Provide insights balancing technical feasibility with business impact.
• Foster partnerships across teams and contribute ideas for continuous improvement.
