Job summary

Manpower Staffing Services (Malaysia) Sdn. Bhd. is seeking a Network Operation Centre (NOC) Shift Engineer to monitor and manage critical facility and network systems in a 24/7 data centre environment.

You will perform real-time alarm analysis, handle incidents, coordinate with engineering teams and vendors, and maintain up-to-date documentation. On-site in Johor Bahru, you will participate in change management and shift handovers.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in IT/CS or related discipline.
• Minimum 3 years in NOC or data centre environment.
• Experience with network monitoring tools and ITIL.
• Familiar with routers, switches, firewalls, load balancers.
• Strong troubleshooting and root cause analysis.
• Willing to work 24/7 with on-call rotations.
• Excellent collaboration and documentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and manage facility systems (power, HVAC, fire suppression).
• Ensure uptime and availability of facility services.
• Eyes on glass for facility alarms.
• Analyze alarms and propose reductions.
• Monitor network performance, analyze logs, respond to alerts.
• Incident management for network incidents; escalate and resolve.
• Maintain network documentation including diagrams and configurations.
• Participate in change management and implement changes with minimal disruption.
• Collaborate with IT teams and vendors.
• Document SOPs and incident reports.
• Shift handover with thorough updates.
