Job summary

PRO3C (MALAYSIA) SDN. BHD. is seeking a hands-on SMT Process Engineer to support PCBA manufacturing in Kulai, Malaysia.

The role demands strong knowledge of SMT processes, SPC/CPk/MSA, FMEA, and root cause analysis, enabling you to drive continuous improvements in a fast-paced electronics manufacturing environment. Collaboration with cross-functional teams across automotive, industrial, and consumer electronics sectors is expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electronics/Electrical/Manufacturing or Quality engineering.
• 3+ years in SMT Process Engineering, Quality Engineering, or PCBA manufacturing.
• Strong SMT process knowledge: paste printing, SPI, pick-and-place, reflow, AOI.
• Knowledge of SPC, Cp/Cpk, MSA, FMEA, Control Plan, PFMEA.
• Familiar with ESD control standards.
• Experience with Root Cause Analysis (8D, 5 Why, Fishbone).
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
• Good communication and teamwork; able to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
• Mandarin speaking an advantage for communication with China & Taiwan.

Job description

Job Requirements:

Bachelor's Degree in Electronic Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Quality Engineering, or a related field.

Minimum 3 years of experience in SMT Process Engineering, Quality Engineering, or PCBA manufacturing.

Strong understanding of SMT manufacturing processes, including solder paste printing, SPI, pick-and-place, reflow, AOI, ICT, and Functional Testing (FCT).

Knowledge of Statistical Process Control (SPC), Process Capability (Cp/Cpk), MSA, FMEA, Control Plan, and PFMEA.

Familiar with ESD control standards.

Experience in Root Cause Analysis (8D, 5 Why, Fishbone).

Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.

Good communication and teamwork skills.

Able to work independently in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Mandarin speaking will be added advantage, which need to communicate with colleagues and clients from China & Taiwan.
