Job summary

Hong Leong Bank is looking for a Community Business Manager to grow the SME customer base through branch-based activities, roadshows and direct outreach, while onboarding new clients to Hong Leong Connect/ConnectBiz for digital banking needs.

You will work with branch and area managers to expand SME coverage, ensure compliance with KYC/AML requirements, and drive profitability for the SME segment.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in sales or 2+ years in SME lending with product evaluation and balance sheet/P&L understanding
• Ability to identify viable SME opportunities and assess business potential
• Strong communication and relationship-building with branch teams and customers

Responsibilities

• Grow ETB SME base and attract NTB customers through branch visits, roadshows, and sales activities
• Promote products: merchant services, deposits, secured/unsecured loans, BANCA and investments
• Support customers with Hong Leong Connect/ConnectBiz for online payments and payroll; ensure compliance with KYC/AML and internal policies
• Collaborate with Branch Managers and Area Manager to expand SME coverage and profitability
