Job summary

Hong Leong Bank Berhad in Penang seeks a Community Business Manager to drive SME growth. You will manage NTB acquisitions, grow ETB balances, and expand product holdings across deposits, loans, merchant services, and investments. You will also support digital onboarding via Hong Leong Connect.

The role requires sales experience with SME lending knowledge, strong branch collaboration, and adherence to KYC/AML rules. Regional HQ leads will complement branch efforts to grow SME profitability.

Qualifications

• Min 3 years in sales experience.
• Minimum 2 years of SME lending experience or 3 years in sales.
• Understanding of company balance sheet and P&L helpful.

Responsibilities

• Grow ETB SME base for retail communities and increase profitability.
• Bring NTB customers to the bank through branch visits and roadshows.
• Cross-sell products: merchant services, deposits, loans, BANCA, investments.
• Support ETB CASA growth and onboarding to Hong Leong Connect platforms.
• Collaborate with Branch Managers and Area Manager to expand SME segment.
