Job summary

realme Malaysia seeks a Technical Support Engineer (Smartphone Repair Technician) to inspect and troubleshoot smartphones, perform repairs, and document all steps. The role includes stock management, administrative duties, and ensuring service centre KPIs are met, with a renewable three-month contract and travel opportunities.

Qualifications

• Knowledge in smartphone repair and testing.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines.
• Good interpersonal communication and teamwork.
• Knowledge of smartphone hardware/software repair is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Inspect the company's branded product for any deficiencies.
• Troubleshoot hardware and software of the branded product.
• Repair and replace components as needed.
• Compile detailed log reports for software issues.
• Document components used during repairs.
• Manage stock for service centres and perform stock checks.
• Print and attach fault stickers for IW and OOW parts.
• Arrange return of faulty parts to the warehouse.
• Maintain service centre performance and KPIs.
• Handle emergencies like complaints and stock discrepancies.
• Report service centre status to HQ and propose strategies.
• Collaborate with colleagues to solve problems.
• Handle administrative tasks and contact customers to complete repairs.
• Submit weekly financial reports to Finance.
• Other duties as assigned.
