Job summary

WK Consortium Sdn Bhd in Sabah is seeking a diligent Site Surveyor to support on-site construction and development activities. You will conduct land and site surveys, interpret drawings, and prepare detailed survey records to ensure accurate layouts.

The ideal candidate holds a Certificate or Diploma in Land Surveying or Civil Engineering, with 1–2 years of relevant experience, proficiency in Total Station, GPS, AutoCAD, and Civil 3D, and good teamwork and communication skills.

Qualifications

• Minimum Certificate or Diploma/Degree in Land Surveying, Geomatics, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
• At least 1-2 years of relevant experience in construction or property development projects.
• Proficient in survey instruments (Total Station, GPS) and software (AutoCAD, Civil 3D is a plus).
• Good understanding of construction drawings, measurements, and layout processes.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in measurements and reporting.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to work independently and travel to site locations as required.

Responsibilities

• Conduct land and site surveys using appropriate tools, equipment, and technology (e.g. total station, GPS, AutoCAD).
• Interpret construction plans, drawings, and specifications for accurate site layout.
• Prepare and maintain detailed survey reports, records, and documentation.
• Collaborate with project teams, contractors, and consultants to ensure measurements and layouts align with project requirements.
• Perform site inspections to ensure compliance with technical plans and safety regulations.
• Provide input and technical support during planning, design, and construction phases.
• Ensure timely delivery of survey data to the project team.
• Assist in resolving on-site discrepancies related to dimensions, levels, and boundaries.
