Job summary

SOLAR SUNYIELD SDN. BHD. is seeking a Site Supervisor to oversee Solar PV installation projects, manage on-site teams, and ensure safety and quality compliance. The role focuses on coordinating materials, deliveries, and daily progress to meet project milestones.

The successful candidate will conduct site inspections, supervise subcontractors, and provide practical guidance to resolve issues while maintaining safety and regulatory standards on-site in Ipoh, Malaysia.

Job description

Collect and verify site information to support the preparation of Bill of Materials (BOM) and Bill of Quantities (BQ).

Supervise and monitor daily Solar PV installation and construction activities to ensure work progresses according to schedule.

Coordinate site logistics, material deliveries and ensure all required materials are ready for installation.

Supervise workers and subcontractors and ensure work is carried out according to project requirements and specifications.

Monitor daily project progress and ensure site targets and deliverables are achieved.

Conduct regular site inspections to ensure proper workmanship and identify potential safety hazards.

Ensure all workers comply with HSE requirements, safety procedures and site regulations.

Implement and maintain good industry practices and safety protocols at the work site.

Monitor inventory and coordinate the ordering and delivery of required construction and Solar PV materials.

Ensure tools, equipment and machinery are in good working condition and available when required.

Maintain accurate attendance records for all site workers.

Review daily construction activities and recommend improvements where necessary.

Troubleshoot site issues and provide practical technical guidance to workers and subcontractors.

Ensure emergency equipment is available and in proper working condition.

Perform first aid and provide assistance during site emergencies where required.

Communicate and provide regular updates on site progress, issues and work status to management.

Attend and participate in Toolbox Meetings, site meetings and other project-related activities.

Conduct Solar PV system quality control checks, including ITP inspections, testing and commissioning activities together with the project team.

Ensure projects are completed within the agreed timeline and required quality standards.

Perform other site supervision duties as assigned by Management.
