Job summary

JT GREEN TECH SDN BHD in Shah Alam seeks a junior Site Engineer to conduct site visits and verify conditions against drawings.

You will supervise site work for quality and safety, review technical drawings, and escalate changes to the Senior Project Engineer.

Liaise with subcontractors, coordinate daily activities, and assist with inspections, maintenance, and urgent site matters; fresh graduates welcome.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering, Electrical & Electronic Engineering, Engineering Technology or a related field.
• Suitable for junior engineers and fresh graduates.
• Site work, construction, solar PV, M&E or electrical background or internship is preferred.
• Able to understand technical drawings; basic AutoCAD and Microsoft Office knowledge are advantages.

Responsibilities

• Conduct site visits to verify site conditions, measurements, access, work areas and readiness.
• Supervise and inspect site work for compliance with approved drawings, specifications, quality and safety requirements.
• Review technical and construction drawings against actual site conditions; escalate discrepancies or required changes to Senior Project Engineer before work proceeds.
• Liaise with subcontractors on manpower, work sequence, site access, schedules, deliveries and other site arrangements.
• Coordinate daily site activities; confirm materials, equipment and work areas are ready; follow up on defects, delays, risks and rectification.
• Update Senior Project Engineer and the project team with progress pictures, completed work, issues, urgent decisions, next actions and expected completion dates.
• Attend urgent site work, testing, troubleshooting or rectification; support the Service & Support team for inspections, maintenance and customer site attendance when necessary.
