Job summary

AME Construction Sdn. Bhd. is seeking a Site Supervisor for Sepang, Selangor, or Nilai, Negeri Sembilan. You will coordinate subcontractors, supervise trades, and ensure projects meet specifications and regulations.

The role requires a Civil Engineering diploma and 1–4 years of experience for a junior position, or 5+ years for a senior role. You will attend site, technical and coordination meetings, monitor progress, and emphasize safety and documentation.

Qualifications

• Diploma in Civil Engineering or equivalent.
• Experience in construction sites with coordination of subcontractors.
• Ability to read architectural and engineering drawings.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate work of subcontractors on various project phases.
• Oversee performance of trade contractors & review drawings for compliance.
• Attend site, technical and coordination meetings during progress.
• Track and control construction schedules.
• Record all site activities in the Daily Site Diary.
• Verify subcontractor claims within defined timeframes.
• Coordinate with inspections and monitor contractor instructions.
• Ensure inspections and testing follow documented procedures.
• Review projects at warranty end for non-compliance items.
• Manage material receiving and site storage, report to HOD.
• Maintain site safety precautions at all times.
• Maintain site cleanliness and defect follow-up records.
• Prepare and submit master programme and site organisation chart.
• Monitor work progress and pre-plan schedules.
• Ensure cross-department coordination on each project.
• Monitor subcontractor and supplier performance; report to Purchasing/Contracts.
• Comply with ISO and HSE policies.

What You'll Do:

• To coordinate work of sub-contractors working on various phases of the project.


• To oversee performance of all trade contractors & review architectural & engineering drawings to make sure that all specifications & regulations are being followed.


• To attend all site meetings, technical meeting and coordination meetings during any time of the work progress.


• Track & control construction schedule.


• To timely record all site activities into Daily Site Diary.


• To verify all subcontractor claims as per time frame set.


• To co-ordinate and assist with final inspections; monitor completion of the contractor instruction.


• To ensure inspection and testing activities in compliance with documented procedure.


• To review projects at the end of the warranty period for non-compliance items. (Both)


• To be responsible for material receiving and storage at site and forward back to HOD.


• To ensure safety precautions taken all times at site.


• To take care and maintenance at site as well as site cleanliness.


• To ensure defects being follow up and recorded.


• To prepare and submit master programme and site organization chart during tender and new project.


• To monitor work progress and schedule of work to be pre planned ahead.


• To ensure coordination between company department on each assigned projects from initial stage of the project.


• To monitor subcontractor and supplier supplied item performance and forward the status with regards to this to purchasing / Contract Department.


• To comply to company ISO and HSE policy.

What We're Looking For:

• Diploma in Civil Engineering or equivalent.


• Junior Position: 1–4 years of experience in construction work (fresh graduates welcome).


• Senior Position: Minimum 5 years of experience in construction work.
