Job summary

Specialist Engineering Asia Sdn Bhd is seeking an on-site supervisor to oversee daily operations for post-tensioning and structural construction projects in Malaysia. You will coordinate activities, monitor work progress, and ensure compliance with project specs and safety standards.

You will lead workers, document progress, and report to the Project Engineer or Project Manager. Willingness to relocate based on project/site requirements is essential to support multiple sites.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of relevant experience in construction projects.
• Possess at least SPM, Diploma, Advanced/Higher/Graduate Diploma, or Engineering (Civil) qualification or equivalent.
• Possess own transport.
• Willing to relocate based on project/site requirement.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily site operations, ensuring work progresses as planned
• Monitor post-tensioning works to ensure compliance with project specifications, drawings and quality standards
• Enforce site safety protocols and ensure compliance with health and safety regulations
• Manage workers, assign tasks and ensure productivity on-site
• Maintain site records, document daily progress and report to the Project Engineer or Project Manager
• Identify on-site issues and accelerate them for timely resolution
• Communicate with main contractor, sub-contractors, general workers and other relevant parties as needed
• Carry out other job assignments as and when required by the immediate project manager or project engineer
