Job summary

TGSB in Malaysia is seeking a site supervisor to oversee daily interior design (ID) and site installation works, ensuring alignment with approved drawings and specifications.

You will monitor M&E-related works, coordinate with M&E contractors, conduct regular inspections, and assist with testing, commissioning, and handover, while maintaining safety standards on site.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate daily interior design (ID) and site installation works.
• Monitor M&E-related works including electrical, mechanical, HVAC, plumbing, fire protection, and ELV/ICT systems.
• Coordinate ID works with M&E services to avoid clashes and site installation conflicts.
• Review and interpret architectural, ID, M&E, and shop drawings.
• Ensure contractors and subcontractors carry out works according to approved drawings and specifications.
• Conduct regular site inspections and monitor workmanship and installation quality.
• Coordinate with M&E contractors on cable trays, conduits, containment, power points, lighting, data points, air-conditioning, plumbing, and other services.
• Identify site issues, discrepancies, and clashes and elevate them to the Project Manager/Engineer when required.
• Monitor site progress and ensure works are completed according to the project schedule.
• Coordinate material deliveries, storage, installation, and site access.
• Check that materials and equipment delivered to site comply with approved specifications.
• Prepare daily site reports, progress updates, inspection records, and other site documentation.
• Attend site meetings and coordinate with consultants, clients, contractors, and subcontractors.
• Assist with testing & commissioning activities and ensure rectification of defects.
• Monitor safety requirements and ensure workers follow site safety rules and procedures.
• Conduct final inspections and assist with T&C, snagging, handover, and defects rectification.
