Job summary

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years' experience as a Site Supervisor or similar role.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
• Strong leadership and communication skills.
• Valid driving licence and own transport preferred.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate all on-site construction activities, ensuring work is carried out according to project specifications, drawings and safety regulations.
• Monitor workforce performance and productivity, ensuring team members adhere to allocated tasks and maintain quality standards.
• Conduct regular site inspections to identify potential safety hazards and implement corrective measures to maintain a safe working environment.
• Manage inventory and allocation of materials, equipment and resources to ensure efficient project progression.
• Communicate effectively with project managers, engineers, and clients regarding site progress, challenges and solutions.
• Maintain accurate site records, daily logs and documentation including timesheets, material records and progress reports.
• Liaise with subcontractors and suppliers to coordinate deliveries and resolve any on-site issues promptly.
• Enforce compliance with company policies, local building codes and health and safety regulations.
• Report any incidents, near-misses or accidents and ensure proper documentation and follow-up actions.

What we're looking for

• Proficiency in using construction management software such as autocad and basic computer skills
• Physical ability to work on construction sites and willingness to work in varying weather conditions
• Valid driving licence and own transportation preferred
