Jora Malaysia is seeking a Site Supervisor (Building & Construction) to lead on-site activities across Klang Valley projects. You will set out, level and coordinate construction work, study drawings and specifications, and ensure materials are handled and stored correctly.
You will monitor progress, supervise subcontractors and workers, and report daily progress to the project team. Ideal candidates have 3–5 years’ experience in construction, a relevant professional certificate or degree, and

Setting out and floor levelling using levelling tools and equipment when necessitating.
To coordinate and supervise construction activities at project site.
Able to study drawings, specifications and contracts to understand project requirement.
To ensure building materials and work done at site are properly handled, stored and protected.
Maintains project schedule by monitoring project progress; coordinating activities; resolving problems.
Monitor works carried out by sub-contractors at site is completed according to drawing specification.
Report non-conformance in respect of workmanship and materials to project manager when necessitating.
Prepare site daily report and site progress pictures to record and report to the immediate superior of daily work progress and any site issues when necessitating.
Monitor, supervise and manage all general workers on site.
Receive, Inspect and verify building materials which are delivered at site.
Check and clarify the discrepancies found on drawing.
Supervise all construction works and coordinate with client, and project team on technical matter when necessitating.
Resolving site issues, conducting meetings with the project team to address construction-related challenges, and ensuring effective resolutions.
Planning of manpower and other resources to ensure maximum distribution of work and minimize disruption to work progress.
Responsibilities include monitoring subcontractors' work on site, overseeing work sequence, construction methods, and ensuring quality control coordination of site meetings in order to assure timely and accurate execution and completion projects.
Supervise subcontractors and workers with the objective of completing the project on time as well as meets the quality and profitability of the project as according to specification.
To execute assignment according to work schedule through proper planning to meet project target completion date.
To ensure projects meets the stipulated quality requirements by closely monitoring, highlight problem or defects and supervising the work of the worker/subcontractor.
Coordinating and ensure all materials delivered to site are as per approved specifications.
Maintains healthy, safe and clean working environment on procedures, rules and regulations.
To undertake any and all other duties, job assignments, and responsibilities assigned by immediate superior.
REQUIREMENTS
Candidate must possess at least a Professional Certificate, Diploma, Advanced / Higher / Graduate Diploma / Degree Engineering / Civil / Construction / Structural or Architectural or equivalent.
Candidate without professional certificate but with great working experiences are also welcome to apply.
Preferably candidates with architectural, C&S, and Construction experiences.
Above 3 – 5 years & above of working experience in the related field is required for this position.
Required language(s): Bahasa Malaysia, English, Mandarin, Cantonese (if applicable) to liaise with Mandarin speaking clients.
Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Word, and Microsoft Office Suite.
Must have own transport.
May require to travel to different location for several projects within Klang Valley.
Able to withstand pressure, good communication skills, positive working attitude, punctuality with high responsibility and able to work independently.
Team player, hardworking and reliable.
This position is based at site and is required to work on Saturdays.
Working hours: Monday – Friday (9:00am to 6:00pm). Saturday (9.00am to 1.00pm).
