Job summary

Pembinaan Bintang Baru is seeking a Site Supervisor to manage daily operations for high-rise civil works in Kuala Lumpur. You will ensure work aligns with drawings and method statements, supervise formwork, rebar, and concrete activities, and coordinate with subcontractors and internal teams to keep projects on track.

The role requires reading drawings, strong coordination, and problem-solving skills, with proficiency in Microsoft Office and AutoCAD advantageous.

Qualifications

• Diploma/Degree in Civil Engineering, Construction, or related field.

Responsibilities

• Supervise daily site operations for Architectural and C&S works.
• Ensure works comply with approved drawings, method statements, and QA/QC requirements.
• Coordinate with subcontractors, suppliers, consultants, and internal teams.
• Monitor structural works including formwork, rebar installation, and concrete casting.
• Inspect finishing works to ensure quality and alignment with specifications.
• Identify and resolve site issues, and issue RFI when necessary.
• Prepare daily site reports, progress updates, and documentation.
• Monitor material deliveries and usage to avoid wastage.
• Attend site meetings and coordinate work schedules.
• Ensure site safety, housekeeping, and environmental compliance at all times.
• Monitor defect rectification and follow up with subcontractors.

Requirements

• Able to read and interpret construction drawings.
• Good coordination, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (AutoCAD is an advantage).
• Able to work under pressure and willing to work overtime when required.
