Job summary

TERA VA SDN. BHD. is seeking a Site Supervisor based in Kuching, Sarawak, to oversee solar PV project sites and ensure adherence to work method statements and safety protocols.

The role requires coordination with the project engineer, subcontractors, QA/QC, and Safety teams. The ideal candidate holds a Diploma in Electrical & Electronic Engineering or equivalent, with certificates such as L4 (OG) and L4 (GC) Chargeman preferred, and 1–3 years of site supervision or project management experience

Qualifications

• Diploma in Electrical & Electronic Engineering or equivalent required.
• Certificate in Engineering or equivalent.
• L4 (OG) & L4 (GC) Chargeman certificates preferred.
• 1–3 years of site supervision / project management experience in Solar PV.
• Knowledge of electrical systems, AC & DC.
• Ability to meet deadlines; HS0 knowledge an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Ensure works carried out by subcontractor comply with work method statement.
• Ensure site safety precautions are per HIRARC.
• Monitor site progress and update work schedule.
• Update client on progress and handle enquiries from client.
• Collaborate with project engineer to prepare work method statement & HIRARC.
• Manage delivery of materials to site.
• Liaise with QA/QC, Safety on site visits for inspections.
• Ensure materials received meet BOM and are in good condition.
• Perform other site supervision duties as assigned.
• Perform any other function as directed by Management.

Job description

Site Supervisor (Based in Kuching, Sarawak)

Ensure works carried out by subcon is in accordance to work method statement.

Ensure site safety precautions are carried out as per HIRARC (Hazard identification, risk assessment and risk control)

Monitor site progress and update work schedule.

Update client on work progress and handle enquiries related to work progress from client.

Work with project engineer to prepare work method statement and HIRARC & delivery of project.

Manage delivery of material to site.

Liaise with related departments (QA/QC, Safety) on site visits for respective inspection works.

Ensure all materials received are in accordance to bill of materials (BOM), and that they are received in good physical and working condition.

Other works related to Site supervision works.

Perform any other function that maybe assigned by the Management.

Job Specification:

Preferable Diploma in Electrical & Electronic Engineering or equivalent for Site Supervisor position and Certificate in Engineering or equivalent.

Preferably with L4 (OG) & L4 (GC) Chargeman certificate.

Preferrable 1-3 years of working experience in site supervision / project management of Solar PV projects.

Knowledge of electrical systems, AC & DC.

Strong drive to ensure installations & technical duties are performed with high precision.

Experience & understanding of Health, Safety and Occupational (HSO) will be added advantage.

Must be able to meet work deadlines as per required.
