Job summary

TERA VA SDN. BHD. in Kota Kinabalu, Sabah, seeks a Site Supervisor to oversee solar PV project sites. The role involves coordinating with subcontractors, maintaining safety, and ensuring equipment and materials meet BOM requirements.

The candidate should have a Diploma in Electrical & Electronic Engineering or equivalent, plus relevant certificates and 1–3 years of site supervision experience, with strong knowledge of AC/DC systems and safety practices.

Qualifications

• Diploma or equivalent for Site Supervisor position and Certificate in Engineering or equivalent.
• PW4 Wireman certificate and A4 Chargeman certificate preferred.
• 1–3 years of site supervision / project management experience in Solar PV projects.
• Knowledge of electrical systems, AC & DC.
• Experience & understanding of Health, Safety and Occupational (HSO) will be an advantage.
• Must be able to meet work deadlines as required.

Responsibilities

• Ensure works carried out by subcontractor are in accordance with the work method statement.
• Ensure site safety precautions are carried out as per HIRARC (Hazard identification, risk assessment and risk control).
• Monitor site progress and update work schedule.
• Update client on work progress and handle enquiries related to work progress from client.
• Work with project engineer to prepare work method statement and HIRARC & delivery of project.
• Manage delivery of material to site.
• Liaise with related departments (QA/QC, Safety) on site visits for inspections.
• Ensure all materials received are in accordance to BOM and in good physical and working condition.
• Other works related to Site supervision.
• Perform any other function as assigned by Management.

Job description

Ensure works carried out by subcon is in accordance to work method statement.

Ensure all materials received are in accordance to bill of materials (BOM), and that they are received in good physical and working condition.

Other works related to Site supervision works.

Perform any other function that maybe assigned by the Management.

Job Specification:

Preferable Diploma in Electrical & Electronic Engineering or equivalent for Site Supervisor position and Certificate in Engineering or equivalent.

Preferably with PW4 Wireman certificate and A4 Chargeman certificate.

Preferrable 1-3 years of working experience in site supervision / project management of Solar PV projects.

Knowledge of electrical systems, AC & DC.

Strong drive to ensure installations & technical duties are performed with high precision.

Experience & understanding of Health, Safety and Occupational (HSO) will be added advantage.

Must be able to meet work deadlines as per required.
