- Act as the main EPCC site representative for daily construction activities.
- Coordinate closely with subcontractors to ensure installation works follow approved drawings and project schedule.
- Monitor subcontractor progress, workmanship quality, and compliance with project requirements.
- Liaise with client representatives on site for coordination, inspections, and acceptance of works.
- Identify and resolve practical site issues to keep work progressing smoothly.
- Oversee and ensure timely rectification of defects and punch list items during all stages of construction.
- Coordinate delivery of EPCC supplied materials to site according to project schedule.
- Manage material receiving, checking, and proper storage on site.
- Monitor material usage and track balance quantities.
- Arrange and coordinate transport and logistics for material delivery when required.
- Issue materials to subcontractors in an organized and documented manner.
- Maintain proper material documentation including delivery notes, issuance records, and inventory tracking.
- Monitor daily site progress to ensure works remain within approved timeline and budget.
- Review project deliverables at each phase to confirm alignment with project requirements.
- Track site activities, risks, and potential delays and report them promptly to management.
- Prepare and maintain routine site reports and records including: Daily, weekly, and monthly progress reports, progress photos and site records Installation checklists and as-built information, ensure all site documentation is properly organized and submitted on time.
- Supervise installation of DC and AC electrical systems from an EPCC coordination perspective.
- Ensure installation quality meets project specifications and company standards.
- Monitor workmanship on site and coordinate corrective actions when required.
- Coordinate and support all site Testing and Commissioning activities.
- Liaise with subcontractors and client representatives during inspections and functional tests.
- Track T&C progress and ensure defects and punch list items are properly closed.
- Ensure proper completion and submission of all commissioning records and reports.
Requirements
- Diploma or Degree in Electrical Engineering or other engineering related field.
- Mandatory: Hands-on experience in managing construction sites.
- Practical knowledge of LV electrical systems and site installation works.
- Solar PV experience is an advantage but not compulsory.
- Strong coordination skills with subcontractors and client representatives.
- Disciplined, responsible, and willing to go the extra mile on site.
- Able to work independently and solve practical site problems.
- Willing to travel and be stationed at project sites within Sabah
