TERA VA SDN. BHD. is seeking a Site Supervisor based in Kuching, Sarawak, to supervise solar PV site activities and subcontractors.

You will ensure adherence to the work method statement and safety protocols, manage materials and liaise with QA/QC and Safety teams for inspections. The ideal candidate holds a Diploma in Electrical & Electronic Engineering or a Certificate in Engineering, with 1–3 years of site supervision/project management experience in solar PV.

Qualifications

• Diploma or equivalent in Electrical & Electronic Engineering or related field.
• Certificate in Engineering or equivalent.

Responsabilités

• Ensure works carried out by subcontractors follow the work method statement.
• Enforce site safety precautions per HIRARC guidelines.
• Monitor site progress and update the work schedule.
• Update client on progress and handle enquiries.
• Collaborate with project engineer to prepare WMS, HIRARC and project delivery.
• Manage delivery of materials to site.
• Coordinate with QA/QC and Safety for on-site inspections.
• Check BOM against received materials and ensure good condition.
• Perform other site supervision duties as needed.

Site Supervisor (Based in Kuching, Sarawak)

Ensure works carried out by subcon is in accordance to work method statement.

Ensure site safety precautions are carried out as per HIRARC (Hazard identification, risk assessment and risk control)

Monitor site progress and update work schedule.

Update client on work progress and handle enquiries related to work progress from client.

Work with project engineer to prepare work method statement and HIRARC & delivery of project.

Manage delivery of material to site.

Liaise with related departments (QA/QC, Safety) on site visits for respective inspection works.

Ensure all materials received are in accordance to bill of materials (BOM), and that they are received in good physical and working condition.

Other works related to Site supervision works.

Perform any other function that maybe assigned by the Management.

Job Requirements:

Preferable Diploma in Electrical & Electronic Engineering or equivalent for Site Supervisor position and Certificate in Engineering or equivalent.

Preferably with L4 (OG) & L4 (GC) Chargeman certificate.

Preferrable 1-3 years of working experience in site supervision / project management of Solar PV projects.

Knowledge of electrical systems, AC & DC.

Strong drive to ensure installations & technical duties are performed with high precision.

Experience & understanding of Health, Safety and Occupational (HSO) will be added advantage.

Must be able to meet work deadlines as per required.
