Job summary

EKAR MHN BUILDCON SDN. BHD. is seeking a Responsible Site Supervisor to oversee daily operations at construction sites in Seremban and Melaka.

You will coordinate with workers, contractors and project managers to ensure work is carried out according to plans and safety standards. The role requires minimum SPM/STPM/Diploma, 3+ years in construction, own transport with GDL license, and fluency in English and Bahasa Melayu; Chinese is a plus.

Qualifications

• Minimum SPM/STPM/Diploma/Equivalent level.
• Minimum 3 years in Construction/Building industry.
• Own transport and GDL license.
• Able to work independently and travel outstation.
• CIDB Green Card preferred.
• Proficient in English and Bahasa Melayu; Chinese language a plus.
• Basic computer skills (Word, Excel, email) and ability to read drawings.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations at construction sites.
• Coordinate with workers, contractors and project managers.
• Ensure work follows project plans and safety regulations.
• Monitor site progress and report updates to management.
• Inspect work quality and address issues.
• Manage site resources (materials and equipment).
• Maintain site documentation and safety records.
• Travel to Seremban and Melaka as required.

Job requirements

We are looking for a responsible and motivated Site Supervisor to join our team.

Requirements:

Minimum SPM/STPM/Diploma/Equivalent level of experience.

Minimum 3 years and above of working experience in the Construction/Building industry

Must possess own transport and GDL license

Responsible, punctual and able to work independently

Must be able and willing to work and travel outstation

Preference shall be given to candidates with CIDB Green Card

Able to converse and write well in English and Bahasa Melayu. Good command in the Chinese language is an added advantage.

Possess basic computer skills and administrative work knowledge (Microsoft Word, Excel, email) is an added advantage

Candidates that are able to interpret technical (AutoCAD) and schematic drawings is a plus

Willingness to learn and follow instructions at all times

To carry any ad hoc task required by Management.

Job scope:

Oversee daily operations at the construction or project site

Coordinate well with workers, Contractors and Project Managers

Ensure that all the work is carried out according to project plans and safety regulations

Monitor site progress and report updates to management

Inspect work quality and address any issues that arise

Manage site resources, including materials and equipment

Resolve site-related problems an ensure smooth workflow

Maintain site documentation, including reports and safety records
