Job summary

JO INTERIOR & CONSTRUCTION SDN BHD is seeking an experienced interior design & build professional to supervise renovation and construction projects across residential and commercial sites. You will read drawings, coordinate with designers and subcontractors, and ensure workmanship meets standards.

The role requires independent work, strong problem-solving and travel to project sites within Klang Valley. Diploma/degree holders in relevant fields are preferred, with practical site experience

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years in interior design & build, renovation or construction projects.
• Diploma/Degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Interior Architecture or related field is an advantage.
• Experience reading drawings and coordinating works per drawings/specifications.
• Ability to manage subcontractors/workers; willing to travel to project sites.
• Employment Type: Full-Time; Salary RM3,000–RM6,000 per month++ (plus incentives for projects).

Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate daily site activities for interior renovation and construction projects.
• Ensure works follow approved drawings, specifications and workmanship standards.
• Monitor project progress to ensure on-schedule completion.
• Coordinate designers, subcontractors, suppliers and site workers.
• Prepare daily site progress reports and site photos for the Project Manager.
• Maintain site cleanliness, safety and proper work organisation.
• Assist with final inspection and project handover.

Minimum 2 years of working experience in Interior Design & Build, renovation or construction projects

Design & Build experience is highly preferred

Experience handling residential and/or commercial renovation projects

Good understanding of wet works, tiling, ceiling, painting, electrical, plumbing, carpentry and finishing works

Able to read drawings and coordinate works according to drawings and specifications

Strong knowledge of site supervision, workmanship quality and construction processes

Able to identify site issues and provide practical solutions

Responsible, organised and able to work independently

Good communication and coordination skills

Able to manage subcontractors and workers effectively

Possess own transport and willing to travel to project sites around Klang Valley

Diploma/Degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Interior Architecture or related field is an advantage, but practical site experience is more important

Employment Type: Full-Time

Salary : RM3,000 – RM6,000 per month++ (depending on experience) add on Incentive for individual projects
