Job summary

Rimarisan is seeking an experienced Site Supervisor to lead construction activities for a warehouse project based in Batu Kawan, Penang or Bagan Datuk, Perak. You will coordinate contractors, monitor progress, and ensure safety and quality on site.

Qualifications

• Minimum 10–15 years of relevant site supervision/construction experience.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate day-to-day site construction activities from commencement through CCC.
• Monitor contractors, subcontractors, and site workers to ensure works align with drawings, specs and safety requirements.
• Coordinate daily manpower, materials, machinery, and equipment needs.
• Monitor progress and ensure activities meet project schedule and quality standards.
• Identify and report issues, defects, and delays to the Project/Construction Manager.
• Conduct regular site inspections and follow up on rectification works.

We are looking for an experienced and dedicated Site Supervisor to join our project team and be based full-time at Batu Kawan, Pulau Pinang or Bagan Datuk, Perak for our warehouse project. The successful candidate will be responsible for supervising daily site activities, coordinating contractors and subcontractors, monitoring work progress, and ensuring construction works are carried out in accordance with approved drawings, specifications, quality standards, safety requirements, and project schedules.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate day-to-day site construction activities from commencement through completion and CCC.
• Monitor contractors, subcontractors, and site workers to ensure works are executed according to approved drawings, specifications, method statements, and site instructions.
• Coordinate daily manpower, materials, machinery, and equipment requirements.
• Monitor work progress and ensure site activities are completed according to the project schedule.
• Ensure construction works and workmanship meet the required quality standards.
• Read and interpret construction drawings, specifications, and method statements.
• Coordinate closely with Site Engineers, Project Manager, Consultants, Clerk of Works, subcontractors, suppliers, and other project stakeholders.
• Conduct regular site inspections and monitor ongoing construction works.
• Identify and report site issues, discrepancies, defects, and delays to the Project Manager / Construction Manager.
• Follow up on rectification works and ensure outstanding site issues are resolved promptly.

About you

• Minimum 10-15 years of relevant experience in site supervision / construction.
• Experience in warehouse, industrial, factory, commercial, or large-scale building projects is highly preferred.
• Certificate, SPM/MCE or relevant technical qualification in Civil Engineering, Building, Construction, or related discipline will be an advantage.
• Good knowledge of construction methods, building works, and site procedures.
• Able to read and understand construction drawings, specifications, and method statements.
• Good understanding of construction quality and safety requirements.
• Strong leadership, communication, coordination, and problem-solving skills.
• Able to effectively supervise and coordinate contractors, subcontractors, and site workers.
• Good organizational skills with the ability to monitor multiple site activities.
