Job summary

Green Plus Consultancy in Malaysia is seeking a Safety Officer to ensure OSH compliance on construction sites and to uphold a safe working environment. You will lead inductions, investigate incidents, and drive safety documentation and meetings with the team.

The role requires a Diploma in OSH, a valid CIDB Green Card, and 3–5 years of construction experience, with strong communication and leadership skills. Transport is preferred.

Qualifications

• Diploma in Occupational Safety and Health or related field.
• Valid CIDB Green Card is required.
• 3–5 years of construction experience.
• Strong interpersonal, communication and leadership skills.
• Self-motivated, responsible and a team player; own transportation.

Responsibilities

• Conduct safety induction for new site staff.
• Ensure workplace and site staff comply with the OSH Act and related requirements.
• Inspect, investigate and rectify unsafe acts, accidents and conflicts at the workplace.
• Promote a safe workplace for all site team and contractors.
• Prepare and review all safety & health documentation and adhere to deadlines.
• Carry out tasks given by the employer or site supervisor on safety and health.
• Conduct regular safety meetings with the superior and subcontractor.
