Job summary

Jora Malaysia seeks a Site Safety Supervisor for engineering construction projects based at Salak Tinggi Sepang, Selangor. You will advise project management on safety issues, liaise with authorities, prepare safety documentation, and participate in weekly site safety meetings.

The role requires DOSH Yellow Book certification, SHO registration, 2–3 years of construction safety experience, and strong communication. On-site work at Salak Tinggi Sepang with a Monday–Saturday schedule is expected.

Qualifications

• Must hold DOSH Yellow Book professional certification.
• Registered Safety & Health Officer (SHO) with DOSH Malaysia.
• 2–3 years of construction safety experience.
• Physically fit for on-site work.
• Willing to work at Salak Tinggi Sepang.

Site Safety Supervisor - Engineering Construction

Location: SK Salak Tinggi Sepang, Selangor
Contract Period: confidential
Working Days: Monday – Saturday
Working Hours: 8.00am - 5.00pm / 8.00am - 1.00pm

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

• To advise project management team regarding safety issues.
• Interact and liaise with local authorities and client to ensure compliance with statutory requirements.
• Liaise with Department of Occupational Safety and Health.
• To submit Weekly and Monthly Report accordingly.
• Attending Site Safety Weekly Meeting.
• To attend Tool Box Meeting.
• Safety Site supervision for all Health & Safety matters at site.
• Assist in the application of permits and the preparation of all relevant safety documentation prior to the commencement of on-site works, in compliance with site requirements and safety regulations.
• Capable of complying with all site and management instructions related to the project execution.

JOB REQUIREMENT/QUALIFICATION

• Minimum must have the Professional Certification of National Department of Occupational Safety and Health (DOSH) – Yellow Book.
• At least 2-3 years of relevant working experience in the construction industry.
• Candidate must be a Registered Safety & Health Officer (SHO) with DOSH Malaysia.
• Must be responsible, committed, independent and pro-active with a can-do attitude.
• Physically fit and able to work in a construction or project site environment.
• Good communication and coordination skills with site personnel, contractors, and management.
• Applicant must be willing to work in Salak Tinggi Sepang, Selangor.
