Job summary

EI Power Berhad is seeking a dedicated Site Safety Supervisor to oversee safety practices across project sites and ensure DOSH/JKKP compliance.

The role requires taking lead on inspections, risk assessments, toolbox talks, PPE enforcement, and incident investigations, while coordinating with teams and clients to foster a strong safety culture. Travel to project sites will be required to monitor on-site safety performance and maintain records.

Qualifications

• Possess a valid Yellow Book (Site Safety Supervisor - SSS) registered with DOSH/JKKP.
• Valid CIDB Green Card.
• Experience in construction, EPCC, industrial, or power projects is an advantage.
• Good knowledge of Occupational Safety & Health regulations.
• Strong communication, leadership and problem-solving skills.
• Able to work independently and willing to travel to project sites.

Responsibilities

• Monitor daily site activities to ensure safety compliance.
• Conduct site safety inspections, risk assessments and hazard identification.
• Implement and enforce safety policies and control measures.
• Conduct toolbox talks and safety briefings for site personnel.
• Ensure proper use of PPE by all workers.
• Investigate accidents, incidents and near misses and prepare reports.
• Maintain safety records, permits and documentation.
• Coordinate with project teams, subcontractors and management on safety matters.
• Ensure compliance with DOSH/JKKP, CIDB and client safety requirements.
• Promote safety awareness and a positive safety culture.

Key Responsibilities:

• Monitor daily site activities to ensure compliance with safety regulations and procedures
• Conduct site safety inspections, risk assessments, and hazard identification
• Implement and enforce safety policies, procedures, and control measures
• Conduct toolbox meetings and safety briefings for site personnel
• Ensure all workers use proper Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)
• Investigate accidents, incidents, and near misses, including preparation of reports
• Maintain safety records, permits, and safety documentation
• Coordinate with project teams, subcontractors, and management on safety matters
• Ensure compliance with DOSH/JKKP, CIDB, and client safety requirements
• Promote safety awareness and a positive safety culture at the workplace
