Job summary

THE PLACE BY DECO is hiring a Site/Project Coordinator in Kedah (Alor Setar). The role involves managing project plans, schedules and budgets while supervising on-site work and coordinating with design and sales teams.

You will lead subcontractors, solve on-site issues, and maintain client communications under the Project Manager. The ideal candidate holds a Diploma in Civil Engineering with interior design exposure, can work overtime, and holds a valid D-class driving license.

Qualifications

• Diploma in Civil Engineering; experience in interior design preferred (1 year).
• Willing to work overtime and at site office in Kedah.
• Valid driving license (class D).
• Proficient in AutoCAD and Microsoft Project.

Responsibilities

• Create, update and manage project plans, site schedules, timelines and budgets.
• Supervise site, manage progress and coordinate installation teams.
• Lead sub-contractor teams and resolve project issues.
• Communicate with customers and collaborate with design & sales teams.
• Report to Project Manager and ensure deadlines are met.

• Responsible in creating, updating and managing project course, site schedule, time frames and budget.
• Manage proper paperwork for a project if required and keep proper recording and filing of all projects.
• Responsible in managing and leading sub-contractor team.
• Responsible for site supervision work, site management work, monitoring installation team and work progress.
• Responsible in solving any problems that occurred during the course of project.
• Responsible in communicating with customers during project if required.
• Work closely with design & sales team.
• Report to Project Manager.

Requirements:

• At least a diploma in Civil Engineering with experience in Interior Design
• Willing to work overtime and able to work at site office located in Kedah
• Possess a valid driving license (class D)
• Possess skill and knowledge in Auto Cad and Microsoft Project.
• Independent, Confident, Problem Solver, Good Leadership, Responsible, Discipline, Matured, Organized, Good Communication Skills and Excellent Client-Facing Skills.
• Highest integrity a pre-requisite with good interpersonal skills.
• Good command of English and Bahasa Malaysia (verbal and written).
• Self-driven and result oriented.
• Love brand building with high passion to succeed.
• Strong in managing project and meeting deadlines.
• Good interpersonal and communication skill, excellent team player.
