Job summary

Jora Malaysia is seeking a hands-on Site Engineer/Construction Supervisor to oversee daily on-site activities, ensuring safe, high-quality execution in line with project plans. You will coordinate with subcontractors, monitor progress, and maintain detailed site records.

The ideal candidate holds a civil/construction degree and is proficient in AutoCAD and MS Office, with strong English and Bahasa Malaysia communication. This is a full-time on-site role in Malaysia.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required in civil/related field.
• Proven ability to supervise construction sites and manage daily operations.
• Experience in project planning, scheduling, and resource allocation.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD for reviewing and interpreting drawings.
• Strong skills in Excel and Office for reporting and documentation.
• Excellent command of English and Bahasa Malaysia (written and spoken).
• Ability to lead and motivate a site team to meet project objectives.
• Understanding of construction methodologies, safety regs, and QC standards.
• Willingness to work full-time onsite.
• Proactive problem-solving on construction projects.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and manage daily on-site construction activities with safety adherence.
• Coordinate with subcontractors, suppliers, and internal teams for timely completion.
• Conduct site inspections to identify issues and implement corrective actions.
• Assist in development and execution of project schedules and monitor progress.
• Review drawings and documents to ensure accurate site implementation.
• Maintain site records using Excel and Office Suite.
• Support quality control procedures and ensure standards are met.
• Collaborate with project team to resolve site-specific challenges.

• Review and interpret construction drawings, blueprints, and technical documents to ensure accurate implementation on site.
• Maintain accurate site records, including daily reports, progress logs, and material inventories, utilizing Microsoft Excel and Office Suite.
• Support the implementation of quality control procedures and ensure that all construction work meets the required standards.
• Collaborate with the project team to resolve technical challenges and site-specific problems effectively.
