Job summary

AirTrunk is seeking a Site Security Manager for its Malaysia data centre. You will supervise security and soft services, manage third-party security staff, and oversee maintenance of the site’s security network.

You will ensure compliance with AirTrunk policies and coordinate with the Site FM team on security and maintenance needs. The role involves supporting accreditation initiatives (ISO 27001, SOC 2), emergency planning, and incident response.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years in a security or operations role with people management experience.
• Experience in data centre or mission-critical environments is plus.
• Proven ability to manage audits and 3rd-party vendors and customers.
• Must hold Security License and First Aid or be eligible to acquire them.
• Strong reporting, incident analysis, and interpretation of operational docs.

A Snapshot

Asa Site Security Managerreporting directly to the Building Services Manager you will work closely with the rest of the Operations team, making your mark ina number ofways:

• Supervise the security and soft services aspects of the data centre facility operations for assigned properties
• Manage 3rd party security staff’s performance to ensure adherence to standard operating procedures and any other requirements to deliverAirTrunk’smaintenance and compliance programs
• Oversee maintenance and upgrades on the site security network

Your Day to Day

• First point of contact for all visitors, responsible for the efficient processing of visitors, contractors,clientsand AirTrunk staff into the facility as well as any other front of house requests
• Conduct regular property inspections focusing on security and EHS
• Ensure all aspects of data centre security systems are in line withAirTrunk’spolicies
• General administrative duties, such as producing reports, providing evidence for audit, and tracking time and attendance of staff
• Coordination with Site FM team leads on security, access, and maintenance requirements
• Ensure new security staff and security vendors are trained and qualified
• Assistin the delivery of various accreditation initiatives, including, but not limited to, ISO 27001 and SOC 2
• Support the Critical Environments team in the management of physical securityincidents at the property
• Develop emergency response plans and conduct drills
• Coordinate staff when responding to emergencies and alarms
• Ensure compliance with all relevant security regulations and standards

Requirements

• Minimum 3 years of experiences and 2+ years of experience in a people management role, ideally in a physical security or operations environment
• Data centre or mission critical background is a plus
• Successfully managed audit and ideally experience with managing 3rd party vendors and customers
• Security License and First Aid Certificate holder or meet requirements toacquirethese
• Experience in reporting and emergency response planningAbility tocomprehend,analyseand interpret operational documents
• Canestablishand review incident reports, emergency event summaries, root cause analysisreportsand O&M manuals
• Proficient in computer systems, ideally with experience in CCTV and/or EACS systems (such as Genetec or Lenel )
• Registered as Fire Safety Officer
